Description
The sauce and oil in this Gift Box you’re about to enjoy has been on quite a journey. It began in a small village just up the coast from Naples and was passed down through generations. A little was added here and there. Ingredients changed a little to suit the move to America. And the flavors were honed in our restaurant overlooking Downtown Pittsburgh. Every ingredient, every recipe has been perfected and fussed over for generations. These are the flavors of our family. And it’s a taste your family will love.
Included in the box:
Marinara Sauce – Sweet basil, garlic, sea salt and extra virgin olive oil completes this sauce which is delicious all by itself, but can also be used in numerous recipes.
Vodka Sauce – We start with the mother marinara, add farm fresh 40% heavy cream, Russian vodka, and a pinch of sugar. You will find this to be a silky, balanced, and a well constructed sauce with just the right amount of sweet and tang.
Red Wine Vinaigrette – All macaroni suppers are best accompanied with a greens salad. Our red wine vinaigrette demand is finally fulfilled with the very same recipe used in our restaurant for over 2 decades. First pressed extra virgin olive oil, premium red wine vinegar, sweet red pepper, garlic, and a sachet of the perfect blend of herbs. Absolutely no water, thickening agents, or preservatives makes this dressing the absolute cleanest on the market.
